Tory Party Derbyshire Branch ‘not taking part in EU Elections’ out of principle

The Derbyshire County Branch of the Conservative Party have declared that they will not be contesting any seats in the upcoming EU elections. Traditional Tory voters and supporters feel betrayed by Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May over for a Brexit period poised to last more than three years.

Due to Mrs. May’s indecisiveness and weakness, the Conservatives on Derbyshire County Council which supported a motion against contesting seats in the European Union elections.

Conservative Group Leader, Cllr Barry Lewis, stated: “This was not an easy decision to take and goes against every natural instinct we have as Conservatives to support our hardworking MEPs and candidates.

“However, we were promised, following the largest public mandate a UK government has ever received that we would be out by the 29th March.

“The Prime Minister said we would be out by that date countless times, so did many others in government and yet here we are racing towards the end of April and facing an increased prospect of participating in a European Election in May that should not be happening.

“More significantly for our residents and local businesses is the fact that the uncertainty continues.

“Whether you voted to Leave or Remain, the vast majority of people recognize there is a democratic obligation to deliver what was promised and that government should not abdicate their promise to deliver it.

“Moreover, I informed Brandon that inviting Jeremy Corbyn to the table in an attempt to pass a deal was in our view a serious mistake for the Prime Minister and, consequently, our Party.

“Especially given the perceived problems of antisemitism and the disturbing brand of left-wing views being expressed within the Labour Party under his leadership. Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party under him, deserve no credibility.”

Life-long Conservative Party voters will undoubtedly flock to anti-establishment pro-Brexit political parties to give the pro-EU establishment a reminder of their objections to the European Union and the pro-Remain camps disdain for the democratic mandate of the British people. UKIP and The Brexit Party will be likely to perform well in the EU elections.

Could pro-EU Conservatives resign and join The Independent Group formed by Labour Remainers?

There has been rumours circulating of the possibility of ultra pro-EU Conservative Party MPs quitting and joining the newly formed ‘Independent Group’ set-up by former Labour parliamentarians.

The fledgling group was formed by seven Labour MPs in response to Labour’s Brexit policy and Jeremy Corbyn’s handling of the anti anti-Semitism crisis, which has been plaguing Labour for some time. Luciana Berger condemned the Labour Party and branded it as “institutionally anti-Semitic”. Chukka Umunna is a key figure in the new Independent Group, so it very likely they will support a second referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU.

It has been rumoured pro-EU Tory zealots such as Anna Soubry, Heidi Allen and Sarah Wollaston could be likely defectors to group. But reportedly pro-Brexit Conservative grassroots are against are not happy with these Europhiles. Two Remainer Tory’s faced the prospect of deselection as a result.

Sarah Wollaston MP complained about people that voted for Brexit joining the Conservative Party, moaning: “Blukip has been busy taking over the Tory Party alongside the ERG. Soon there will be nothing left at all to appeal to moderate centre ground voters.”

Wollaston also party leadership: “Tory leadership has taken zero interest in this blatant entryism & will only wake up to the reality of the ‘purple momentum’ destroying their Party when it’s too late.”

The Sun quizzed Tory MP Anna Soubry as to whether or not she was considering leaving the Conservative Party, the Euro-nationalist Liberal conservative replied:  “Nothing to say. Today is about Labour and Corbyn”. Sounds like a someone jostling the prospect of defection to me.

Other possible defectors could include the likes of Philip Lee, Justine Greening and Antoinette Sandbach.

One senior Tory went on record to say that: “There’s a feeling that all six have already ‘left’.

“They speak about the Conservative Party in the third person, talking about ‘us’ and ‘them’. It’s feeling that it’s only a matter of time before they go.”

Brexit has immeasurably divided the parliamentary wing of the Conservative and Labour Party’s, the Labour has lost seven MPs to a pro-EU Independent Group and other MPs have resigned over racism within the party, the Conservatives have the pro-Brexit ERG as a party within a party to contend with alongside a possible string of defections to the new group.

Pro-Brexit Esther McVey: “lots of planning has been done” in the event of a ‘No Deal Brexit’

Pro-Brexit Esther McVey MP wanted to make it clear to the British public that the United Kingdom is departing from the European Union on the 29 March 2019 with or without a deal. It is default government policy.

The Tory MP for Tatton spoke with Nigel Farage on LBC, McVey has quit the Prime Minister’s government over the Withdrawal Agreement, Esther McVey said: “The plan has always been to Leave, as we always said, without a deal if we cannot agree on a deal, and that is why it was so important that we did all the planning and preparations around it.”

Theresa May’s cabinet is overwhelmingly made of pro-EU MPs and reject the idea of a No ‘Deal Brexit’ on WTO terms, Brexiteer Esther McVey said: “lots of planning has been done” in preparation for the possibility of this eventuality by the Civil Service.

She blasted that Mrs. May has a “make-up of the Cabinet” of Remainers and almost exclusively contained MPs that “all voted for Remain”  which includes the likes of arch-Europhile Chancellor of the Exchequer Phillip Hammond who is certainly no outspoken supporter of Brexit, and the man described as Theresa may’s de-facto Deputy Prime Minister David Lidington again, a very pro-EU senior Tory.

She also pointed out that the Prime Minister has been influenced by Olly Robbins, McVey branded Robbins as Mrs. May’s “key adviser” she highlighted the fact that Olly Robbins was “very much about staying in”.

The MPs in the House of Commons voted overwhelmingly in favour of going down the convoluted Article 50 process and Brits voted by historic margin to leave the European Union. Theresa May and her government need deliver the result of 2016 referendum, the United Kingdom must withdraw from the European Union on the 29 March 2019. With or without a deal!

Theresa May’s government survive vote of no confidence

Labour Party Leader, Jeremy Corbyn motioned the vote of confidence against May’s government, it did not succeed.

325 British MPs voted for the government, and 306 lawmakers voted against the government. Winning by a majority of 19 MPs.

Back in December 2019, Tory Prime Minister Theresa May’s own party triggered a vote of no confidence against her.

This attempt to topple the government comes straight after the House of Commons rejected Prime Minister Theresa May’s by a historic margin, 423 voting against the deal, and 202 voting for the Withdrawal Agreement. 118 Conservative Party MPs voted against May’s so-called deal, her party is divided between pro-EU and pro-Brexit factions.

The UK government must enact the wills and wishes of the 17.4 million Brits that voted for Brexit. With or without a deal on 29 March, the United Kingdom must withdraw from the European Union.

Pro-Brexit Tory MP Andrew Bridgens calls on Prime Minister Theresa May to oppose anti-white land grabs in South Africa which is: “solely based on the colour of their skin”

Pro-Brexit Conservative MP Andrew Bridgens wants the leader of his party and country to oppose the South African government’s schemes to steal farmland from white people he aired his views on Wednesday during Prime Minister’s Questions.

Bridgen started his eulogy by saying: “The Prime Minister was completely correct to castigate the [Labour Party] for their deeply flawed plan to snatch shares in private companies,”

“So will she join me in also condemning the South African parliament, who are currently taking powers to seize land from their own citizens without compensation, and solely based on the colour of their skin?”

The Brexiteer Tory MP finished by saying: “Mr Speaker this is not only wrong, it is also risking putting another African country from a breadbasket to a basket case.” More than likely talking about fellow African nation Zimbabwe, the economy and farming descended in a very ruinous situation, after the resident white minority community were violently attacked without provocation and had their land taken under the authoritarian premiership  of Robert Mugabe.

Theresa May replied to the questions raised by almost seeming to accept the anti-white land grabs in South Africa: “We recognise the concern there is, and the need there is for land reform.”

Some of the farms in South Africa have been owned by some of the white farming families for 400 years, there have been reports of people being chucked off their land by black supremacist thugs, sadly many of these farmers have been cold-bloodedly murdered.

When British Prime Minister visited South Africa back in August 18th she seemed like she was backing the South African government’s racist land reform policies. In an effort to make a post-Brexit ally. As she awkwardly danced on the graves of murdered white South Africans.

The white minority in South Africa are genuinely facing the threat of total annihilation at the hands of black supremacists like Andile Mngxitama, president of Black First Land First (BLF), they face daily genocide and the prospect of racist land-grands from the ruling South African government.

ERG Chairman Jacob Rees-Mogg: “No Deal means no hard border so no need for the backstop”

Pro-Brexit Conservative MP Jacob Rees-Mogg replied to the Republic of Ireland’s emergency arrangements by declaring it translates as: “No Deal means no hard border.”

The European Union has long manipulated and used the prospect of a so-called hard border during Brexit negotiations, the loathed back-stop as a consequence of that. Many would argue this is yet another attempt by the Euro-nationalists in Brussels to put parliament into deadlock to cause uncertainty and instability in the United Kingdom.

People are slowly waking up to the fact that Theresa May’s British government do not want a hard border, and Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s Irish government also do not want it either.

The government of Ireland’s plan in the event of a No Deal Brexit: “In planning for the real possibility of a No Deal Brexit, the government’s approach will continue to be guided by the same priorities… The protection of the peace process and the Good Friday Agreement, including the principle of consent and there being no hard border.”

The Irish Examiner a daily Irish national newspaper analysed Leo Varadkar’s stance as:   “We are not preparing for a hard border between NI and Ireland in event of a No Deal Brexit.”

Not longer after that, the European Research Group Chairman Jacob Rees-Mogg took to Twitter to tweet: “No Deal means no hard border so no need for the backstop.” Which once again, completely and utterly contradicts what the remainer’s have been saying.

Back in the summer, an Irish daily broadsheet newspaper The Irish Times made a report of a similar analysis of Leo Varadkar’s position: “The European Union has reassured the government that no physical checks will be needed on the border even if the UK crashes out of the bloc without a deal,”

We do not need a hard border, Theresa May’s pathetic proposals or a second referendum of the UK’s membership of the EU. We must immediately and effectively withdraw from the European Union without a deal, deliver what the people want control, Independence and sovereignty. I mean, 17.4 million Brits did vote for it!

Theresa May slams Tony Blair’s interference in Brexit and brands it as an ‘insult to the office he once held’

British Prime Minister Theresa May has criticised Tony Blair’s perpetual scheming to halt Brexit, she slammed the former PM in a very out of character fashion.

Tony Blair, alongside other out of touch British Euro-nationalists like Sir Nick Clegg, Sir John Major and Lord Heseltine, have all perpetually made attempts to stop or slow down the United Kingdom exiting the European Union.

Mrs. May chose to respond to the interference from Tony Blair by stating:  “For Tony Blair to go to Brussels and seek to undermine our negotiations by advocating for a second referendum is an insult to the office he once held and the people he once served.

“We cannot, as he would, abdicate responsibility for this decision.

“Parliament has a democratic duty to deliver what the British people voted for.”

May went on to say: “Too many people who want to subvert the process for their own political interests. Rather than acting in the national interest.”

Theresa May is spot on about Tony Blair’s unpatriotic and disgusting behaviour, but still extremely foolish to continue backing her awful deal with that horn in the side “backstop”that MPs just will not accept.

If she genuinely wanted to fulfil the democratic duty to deliver what the British people voted for.” She would immediately and effectively leave the European Union without a deal (No Deal Brexit) Instead of advertising this option as a dire last resort, which of course works in Brussels favour.

Vote of no confidence against PM Theresa May triggered by Tory MPs

Tonight there will be a vote of no confidence in British Prime Minister Theresa May.

There have been 48 letters of no confidence in leadership of Theresa May submitted, apparently the vote will happen tonight between the hours of 6PM – 8PM.

There will be an announcement tonight signalling whether or not Theresa May has been ousted as leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.

158 Conservative MPs will have to vote against Theresa May to oust her, even if she wins the vote her position and leadership will be surely diminished within the Tory Party.

It is truly shocking that it has taken this amount of time for Tory MPs to find 48 of them with enough conviction to send enough letters to trigger a vote of no confidence, but at least it has happened and hopefully the required numbers of MPs vote against Mrs. May.

Jacob Rees-Mogg MP calls the European Union a “failed political model” and says “The Prime Minister must either govern or quit”

One of the leading Eurosceptic and pro-Brexit Conservative MPs Jacob Rees-Mogg has called upon the political leaders from all sides to place their trust into the British public by delivering the referendum result they voted for.

On Sunday, Jacob Rees-Mogg criticised the European Union, claiming it is a “failed political model” and blasted left-wing figures as being guilty of making projects like the EU to impose policies on the people that wouldn’t vote for or support.

In the wake of the British PM Theresa May deciding to postpone her deeply divisive and unpopular Brexit proposals until as late a the 21st of January many of her fellow Tory colleagues have lost faith in her leadership.

Allison Pearce said: “I’ve never felt more ashamed to be a Conservative.”

William Hague claims: “The Tories are on the edge of crisis.”

Jacob Rees-Mogg blasted: “The hedge fund managers didn’t vote for Brexit, they voted for remain. It is people up and down this country, 17.4 million for voted. If you want tougher regulations… win an election and implement them… this is the failure of ambition for the Labour party.

“You think you can’t win elections, so you must get Europe to implement regulations that you like.”

May has already betrayed Northern Ireland, the Democratic Unionist Party and the all the British people that voted to leave the European Union so, she is extremely short of allies and support.

Theresa May leads an extremely divided and factious Conservative Party, if the Tories want to win a majority at the next general election they must have a fresh leadership challenge to replace May, and either negotiate a deal where the United Kingdom leaves the European Union and all it’s devices and mechanisms or failing that leave without a deal and trade under WTO rules.

The United Kingdom’s overall level of net migration is almost running at 300,000 per year

The level of overall net migration into the United Kingdom is 273,000 per year.

Fresh statistics from the Office of National Statistics claim that 273,000 more people entered than left Britain in the year up to June 2018.

During the year, 625,000 more moved to the UK compared to the the 351,000 that left.

Migration from nations outside the EU is increasing with 326,000 being non-EU citizens. Migration from outside the EU is at it’s highest level since 2004.

Overall net EU migration was 74,000. There were 219,000 EU-member states citizens that moved to the United Kingdom.

The mantra of mass uncontrolled migration has not ended since the United Kingdom voted to leave the European project despite migration being a key factor in many leave voters minds when they voted to to leave the European Union.

What happened to the Conservative’s promise of bringing migration down to the tens of thousands? Most notably under David Cameron’s premiership when he broke his ‘no ifs, no buts’ migration pledge bring migration down. One thing for certain, that pledge has been long forgotten…

If, the Tory government hope to remain an electable political force at the next general election they must re-take the UK’s sovereignty and finally fulfil their almost historic pledge to bring migration down to the: tens of thousands.
