Yesterday, the United Kingdom formalized a trade continuity agreement with Switzerland, subsequent to the UK-Chile trade agreement.
Secretary of State for International Trade, Liam Fox MP, said: “Swiss and British businesses can continue to trade with confidence as we leave the EU – whether that is with or without a deal.”
The Conservative MP for North Somerset, Liam Fox pointed out that Switzerland is “one of our most important trading partners” which accumulated to £30 billion last year alone.
Yesterday revealed that Britain is “open for business” and the UK will “continue to build on our strong trading relationships with the rest of the world”, Fox claimed.
The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland needs to withdraw from the Single Market and Customs Union as of the 29th March to allow unfettered frictionless trade with the world.
