The United Kingdom’s Brexit supremo Nigel Farage MEP used his platform in the EU parliament to claim that a ‘No Deal Brexit’ is becoming far more probable due to the EU’s unaccommodating negotiation status.
Mr. Farage voiced his dissatisfaction at the fact that EU leaders have turned into familiar names in Britain due to there being: “an appreciation in Britain that unelected bureaucrats in Brussels have been talking down to and humiliating the Prime Minister of our nation, and we don’t like it”.
The former UKIP Leader also slammed the “dreadful backstop mistake”, Farage also claimed that the EU’s reaction meant that even if Theresa May receives a majority in the House of Commons the European Union will not budge, they are “not prepared to give an inch”.
He went on to say that it meant “dealing with fanatics who are not prepared to be reasonable” even though the Prime Minister has “made compromise after compromise” which of course translates as “No Deal is better than the backstop”.
Nigel Farage finished by blasting “Why don’t we all prepare sensibly for a No Deal scenario!”. We don’t really need to continue down the complicated Article 50 process when we can immediately repeal the European Communities Act 1972 and withdraw from the European Union.
The UK government can not take a ‘No Deal Brexit’ off the table during a heated negotiation and must get ready for World Trade Organisation (WTO) terms withdrawal from the European Union.
