Yesterday, British Prime Minister, Theresa May’s proposed Withdrawal Agreement was voted down by a historic margin. Over 400 MPs voted against May’s deal.
Theresa May suffered the worst defeat of any British Prime Minister in decades. 432 lawmakers (MPs) voted against the deal, and 202 voted for the proposed deal.
Mrs. May must accept her proposed deal is as dead as the Dodo bird. The only viable and sensible option remaining is to leave the European Union without a deal on the 29 March and withdraw from all the devices and mechanisms, if she does not, her government will be in effect breaking the law. Brits are already frustrated and disenfranchised with the Tory governments handling of the Brexit negotiations and sheer length of time that it is taking.
Theresa May faces the prospect of a fresh rebellion in her own party, 118 of her own MPs voted against her Withdrawal Agreement. A meagre 3 Labour MPs supported May’s despised deal.
Let us go, WTO!
