There was a Islamic terror-related attack in Manchester train station a couple of nights ago which is now finally being treated a “terrorist investigation”, the authorities have established.
The cowardly terror attack that unfolded in Manchester Victoria station two nights ago with three people being stabbed which included a police officer.
A key witness in the events that unfolded, Sam Clark, producer from the BBC, went on record to say: “It was pretty scary. It was just me on the platform and as I was standing there I heard the most blood-curdling scream I had ever heard from a woman near by. It looked like there was a fight going on.
“I heard the guy shout ‘Allah’ distinctly. I didn’t hear the rest of the sentence.”
British Transport Police (BTP) officers arrived at the scene shortly after they received “reports of a man wielding a knife” on the Metrolink tram platform at 8.52PM.
There was a video that went viral on social media of the suspected terrorist screaming “Allahu Akbar” and “long live the Caliphate” before he was placed in the back of a police van.
Sajid Javid, the Home Secretary wanted to assure the public that “@TerrorismPolice” or Counter-Terror Police were making a full and thorough investigation, he tweeted: “This morning, my thoughts with the three victims of #ManchesterVictoria stabbing incident last night, including a brave police officer.
“Wishing them all a full recovery. A suspect has been arrested and @TerrorismPolice are leading the investigation.”
We cannot allow the plague of radical Islamic terrorism/ extremism the opportunity to emerge and blossom in our communities across the the United Kingdom, like it does in our towns and cities like Luton, Rotherham and Birmingham already.
