It was just me on the platform and as I was standing there I heard the most blood-curdling scream I had ever heard from a woman near by. It looked like there was a fight going on.

“I heard the guy shout ‘Allah’ distinctly. I didn’t hear the rest of the sentence.”

British Transport Police (BTP) officers arrived at the scene shortly after they received “reports of a man wielding a knife” on the Metrolink tram platform at 8.52PM.

There was a video that went viral on social media of the suspected terrorist screaming “Allahu Akbar” and “long live the Caliphate” before he was placed in the back of a police van.

Sajid Javid, the Home Secretary wanted to assure the public that “@TerrorismPolice”  or Counter-Terror Police were making a full and thorough investigation, he tweeted:  “This morning, my thoughts with the three victims of #ManchesterVictoria stabbing incident last night, including a brave police officer.

We cannot allow the plague of radical Islamic terrorism/ extremism the opportunity to emerge and blossom in our communities across the the United Kingdom, like it does in our towns and cities like Luton, Rotherham and Birmingham already.
