UK Unity a grass-roots Pro-Brexit campaign organisation founded in Scotland are in the process of organising a rally to call for fresh leadership in London and for Theresa May to remove Sadiq Khan from office in order for new elections to take place.
It is no secret that since Sadiq Khan became the Mayor of London crime rates have drastically soared to the point that London’s murder rate was higher than that of New York’s.
On the UK Unity: Sack Sadiq Khan! demonstration Facebook page the organisers had this to say in regards to the Khan’s leadership: “Sadiq Khan has presided over calamity after calamity. Murder rates are now higher than New York with Acid Attacks, Moped Attacks and Rapes also Sky Rocketing. The decision to allow an anti-Trump blimp to fly over London is the final straw for many and his antics in opposing the leader of the free world’s visit make a mockery of the entire UK and not just London that he represents.”
When BNN News spoke to an Admin on the UK Unity Facebook page they said: “Unity is a fast growing grassroots movement for change in the UK that primarily focuses on ensuring a full and clean Brexit. Many of our supporters and members have been in touch to say that they are exasperated with the National role & prominence that Sadiq Khan receives as Mayor of London. To that end Unity have seen an opportunity and that is for central government to step in and either abolish the position and assembly or remove Khan and seek fresh elections. There has been a precedent set for this with the removal of the GLC under Ken Livingstone in 1986.
“Unity Spokesperson David Clews says “Khan is the face of our nation’s capital, Sadiq Khan has presided over calamity after calamity. Murder rates are now higher than New York with Acid Attacks, Moped Attacks and Rapes also Sky Rocketing. The decision to allow an anti-Trump blimp to fly over London is the final straw for many and his antics in opposing the leader of the free world’s visit make a mockery of the entire UK and not just London that he represents.
“UK Unity will be writing to the Prime Minister asking her party to seek to repeal the Greater London Authority Act 1999 (c. 29) with her Parliamentary majority in order that Khan can be removed from office with fresh elections held. This petition will be part of a wider campaign by UK Unity to get Khan REMOVED from office ASAP! Final date for signing will be the 17th of October! We will bring a copy of the letter to Downing Street in London and delivery to the London Assembly at our protest on the 18th of October where Mayor Khan will be answering Mayor’s questions.”
UK Unity the non-partisan campaign movement have a 5 Point Plan for Britain which includes leaving the EU entirely and giving them nothing, ending mass immigration into the UK, well-managed and funded public services, reforming democracy in the UK and scrapping the House of Lords and placing British Law, culture and people first.
The demonstration to “Sack Sadiq Khan” is planned to take place on the 18th of October outside the London Assembly starting at 10AM and ending at 1PM.
Instead of trying to reduce the crime and murder rate in London and make life more liveable for Londoners Khan has been calling for a “a public vote with the option to stay in the EU.” Which translates to the Mayor of London calling for a second referendum on the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union.
Sadiq Khan has also called for other bizarre things like cancelling US President Donald J. Trump’s official state visit over some Twitter tweets that were critical of him.
The United Kingdom has already had a vote on their membership of the EU where 17.4 million people voted to leave which is the largest democratic mandate ever recorded in British political history.
Many would argue London deserves a lot better than a Mayor that believes terrorism is simply “part and parcel” of living in a big city like London and attempts to deceive the British people and subvert British democracy.
