Founder of the English Defence League (EDL) Tommy Robinson has more followers and likes on Facebook than former UK Independence Party (UKIP) leader and chief Brexiteer Nigel Farage MEP.

Tommy has 893,828 likes and 970,436 followers on social media giant Facebook, Nigel has 792,688 likes and 802,030 followers. So, that means Tommy has just over 100,000 more likes than Farage and nearly 170,000 more followers.

Nigel Farage is the former leader of UKIP/co-founder, a member of European parliament, Chair of Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy, a broadcaster, a political analyst and arguably the man that made Brexit a reality.

Tommy Robinson is the man that founded the EDL, briefly became a member of British National Party and British Freedom Party, worked with Quilliam for a little while, started acting as a journalist for Rebel Media and has campaigned tirelessly against the Islamisation of the UK.

Quite possibly since the UK voted to leave the EU and Nigel Farage resigned as leader of UKIP and started working more extensively as a broadcaster and political analyst for various media outlets it caused him to lose his former pillar of fame and respect among the people.

Tommy Robinson is seen as a man from humble beginnings from a working-class community, he has been fighting to expose radical elements of Islam and bring independent news to the people that they don’t normally see on the mainstream media and the people love him for it.
