Nadine Dorries is a Tory MP that supports the UK’s departure from the EU and has called out for the arch-remainer Chancellor Philip Hammond to be sacked. Nadine says that he is a “ball and chain on Brexit” and has to go.
Dorries, frustration comes after scaremongering prediction from the Treasury that gave a tale of woe in the event of a “No Deal” Brexit. In a similar fashion to the Treasury forecasting recession after we voted to leave with George Osborne absurdly saying a vote leave: ‘will cause recession’, and David Cameron going on to claim it would be a: “self-destruct option” for the UK.
Nadine Dorries was angered by this, and blasted:
“Philip Hammond has to go! He’s like a ball and chain around the Prime Minister’s leg and he’s a ball and chain on Brexit.”
“Everything Philip Hammond does is to prevent or stop Brexit.”
“We need an upbeat, outward looking, aspirational Chancellor who wants to embrace Brexit and all it has to offer, not someone who is permanently trying to stop it.”
Many Tories believe that Hammond should be replaced. A Cabinet full of establishment figures that voted to remain a member of the European Union negotiating a deal to leave…
Nadine took to social media via Twitter to bash Hammond further and recommend Sajid Javid for the role.
The United Kingdom must have people that actually believe in Brexit and taking back sovereignty from the European Union negotiating our exit, instead we have a cabinet full of people that wanted Britain to remain shackled to the EU and a Prime Minister that does not believe in Brexit or standing up for the interests of the UK or the British people.
