Fresh data from the Office for National Statistics indicates England’s population will surge by 3.2 million by around 2026.

Arguably to no ones surprise, mass uncontrolled migration plays a pivotal role in the population rise. If you want facts, look at the North East of England, the estimated population rise is expected to be is mainly down to migration. 44,000 to 50,000.

The study says: “London is the region with the highest projected level of net international migration over the 10 years to mid-2026. However, it also has a high net within UK migration outflow. These more or less offset each other, meaning that the overall impact of migration on the population is very small and most of London’s projected growth results from natural change. This contrasts with the North East, where natural change is small and most growth results from migration.”

The overall population in England is set to surge from 55,268,000 in 2016 to 58,506,000 around 2026, this population swell is an increase of 5.9%.

Now lets look at our capital city, London will soar by 774,000, that is a 8.8% in a decade.

Shall we look at Tower Hamlets? Which reportedly has the honour of being the quickest local authority in terms of the population increase, their population will increase by around 17.8%, from 2016 to 2026.

Yes, this will all place further strains on our schools, hospitals and so much more! The housing crisis will only get worse and more unskilled labour means less work for everyone.
