Shockingly 650,000 so-called asylum seekers applied to be registered in the EU as asylum seekers just last year.
Even though is down from the 1.25 million that applied back in 2016, it’s a scary thought that near enough one million economic migrants that are eagerly waiting for acceptance on their application.
To nobodies surprise, the brave nations that rejected the EU’s migrants quotas receive the lowest applications for asylum status.
Reportedly, applications in Poland plummeted by 69% in 2016 and 2017 in regards to asylum. And in Hungary the same applications dropped by a massive 89%.
The people of Poland have long rejected migrants and quotas from the EU, the feud has gone as far as the Commission threatening to take away Poland’s right to vote in the EU parliament, how’s that for democracy?
The formidable Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán has also been ensued in the very same war with the EU.
Angela Merkel was put straight by Viktor Orbán earlier on in the year, explaining to a German newspaper he should not bear responsibility for the crisis because Merkel ” wanted migrants, and we didn’t”.
“The solution to the problem is certainly not to divide people who are in the EU illegally across the entire EU region…We think one has to help where the problem lies, and not bring immigrants here,” The Hungarian Prime Minister said.
It doesn’t take a political scientist to work out the figures do not lie. Having a traditionally conservative stance towards illegal migration stamps out illegal immigration. Maybe Theresa May could learn a thing or two from Poland and Hungary?
