William Ewart Gladstone born in Liverpool fourth son of a merchant and four time Prime Minister of Great Britain between the years of 1868–74, 1880–85, 1886 and 1892–94 and a political career spanning sixty years. William called the Qur’an an “accursed book” and even once bravely held it above his head during a session of debate in parliament and cried “So long as there is this book there will be no peace in the world.”
The gradual process of political correctness and forced mass-migration from war torn third-world countries have seemingly blinded people to the blatant radical religious indoctrination found inside the Qur’an, the fact that Muhammed was a morally bankrupt man & the dangerous fifth-column that want nothing more than to destroy us and our culture.
Gladstone strangely made a few favourable statements about Muhammed marginally as the founder of Islam, and his comments definitely weren’t as extreme as other people’s at the time after all he was a Liberal Party statesman but this was the Liberal Party before it became so illiberal more classical.
It does not make a lot of sense. The Qur’an has not been edited or replaced since the 19th century right up until now the 21st century. But what has changed is the attitude towards this book and the literal interpretations of it many people are taking. Interpreting the Qur’an literally has become a Mecca for religious bigots and hatred for Liberal Western values and democracy far from the book of the religion of peace it’s made out to be by some people. The text is the book remains the same and so does the indoctrination.
If it was a impediment to peace in old Gladstone’s days, then I think it goes without saying it’s even more dangerous today!
Geert Wilders, Dutch politician who is the founder and the current leader of the Party for Freedom once said “I view Islam not as a religion, but as a dangerous, totalitarian ideology – equal to communism and fascism. Aren’t I allowed to say so?”
Unfortunately not, he isn’t allowed to say such a politically incorrect thing. If he had said so a couple of hundred years ago he probably would have been Prime Minister of the Netherlands, he is a target and on many hit-lists. If Gladstone was forwarded in time to 2018 he would probably be on charges of ”Hate Speech” and some sort of religious hate crime or incident if he dared repeat those comments he made today.
When you practise and preach a literal interpretation of the Qur’an you are inciting religious war against non-Muslims and other barbaric practises like sexual slavery and therefore you are a Radical Extremist. Literal Qur’an interpretation and enforcement of Islamic law (Sharia’ah Law) goes against every fibre of British and Western culture and society if we are to live alongside Islam it must reform it’s scripture and practises.
